This is not the begining. Mostly because I am not the best at beginning but also because I have had the travel bug for the longest time, possibly since I left Nigeria almost fifteen years ago. This is therefore not a documentation of the onset of my travels but the attempt to document my current travels and inspire others and myself to continue on this path.
I have been fortunate to travel back to Nigeria last summer, and that trip fueled my intrest in blogging, thus the creation of my other blog ltflover.blogspot.com.Before the trip to Nigeria, I was a part of a tour to Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.
This blog, in particular, is fueled by my current trip to Granada, Spain, a city that I am embracing with open arms and calling my home for the next 5 months.So with that ..my journey begins, well it began on Jan 11.2012 when i arrived in Spain.I did say I was terrible with beginnings.
Explanation of the title;
An Ajanaku is a great animal like an elephant,
but someone once told me it could also can be interpreted as lion... :/ .
Anyway, Ajanaku is my last name and is also part of a wonderful
Yoruba proverb which states
"Ajanaku koja mo ri kini kan firi "
Literally it is. if a elephant walks by, you have seen something
for which you have to admonish its presence...
It is also an admonishment to be truthfully.
I was told the importance of my last name whilst
I was in Nigeria, and i have held unto that ever since.
CAMINAR- is the spanish verb to walk, to travel e.t.c
so walk with me, yeah ?
